What makes a good goblin game for me?
Goblins are quirky little creatures, so goblin games need quirky humour, crafty mechanics and a good loot loop.
Masterpiece
My favourite games in the genre, the top of the crop. As perfect as they can get, a true master class. The games I keep returning to.
A game that went right to my goblin heart!
Find junk, clean and repair it, turn it into treasures and sell them to a variety of customers, each with interesting backstories, all while solving a bigger mistery happening in your attic. What more could you want?Peglin
The virtual equivalent to bubble wrap for your brain.
Throw your little goblin balls through a bagatelle and hope you hit all the good stuff. Deal damage to enemies, bring them to 0 HP and run off with the loot. Simple premise but with super interesting level design.
Quite good
Games that are great, with a lot of the things I love, that I got hooked on for a good while before putting them down.
Goblin Cleanup
Ever wondered who reset the traps in dungeons between parties?
Reset the traps, clean up the blood, try not to add more to it by setting off the traps yourself, and restore the dungeon back to what it should be, ready for the next adventurer party to mess it all up again. Rinse, repeat.Goblin Sushi

Make sushi, feed your customers, get xp, upgrade your tools, make more sushi, pay your rent, make your landlord explode (hopefully).
Mixed bag
These are the “needs some more time in the oven” games. They have good elements that make me not dismiss them entirely, but they also lack in too many areas to really hook me.
Really bad
I just really did not enjoy these games. They were either frustrating, unpolished, un-userfriendly, or just plain boring.
